MUNCIE, Ind. --- The Cards were back in action last night to face off against Akron.
Ally Becki started the game off strong with an 8-0 run that gave the cards a 19-9 advantage. The Zips continued to trail behind as the Cards upheld their lead, 37-19 at halftime. More of the same in the third as Ball State maintains a 56-19 at halftime.
Sophomores Alex Richard and Ally Becki lead the squad, with Alex scoring 21 points and Becki scoring 19. The Cards defense stays strong from start to finish, holding Akron to its lowest point total of the season with a final score of 75-41.
The Cards will return to Worthen Arena on Saturday to host Eastern Michigan at 11 a.m. for their final home game of the season.
