Muncie Central faced Harrison at home in what will be their last NCC matchup against Harrison as the Raiders are leaving the conference and will not be a part of the conference next year.
Harrison is leaving the conference with McCutcheon and Logansport at the end of the school year McCutcheon. Logansport decided to leave and join the Hoosier Conference after a vote by the Hoosier Conference.
Muncie Central fell to Harrison 52-55. Muncie Central found themselves in a 17-point deficit in the 2nd quarter and were down 13 at halftime. In the second half, the Bearcats fought back to tie the game at 45-45 midway through the third. After that, the bearcats kept it close but could not execute down the stretch to take a lead. They fought back to be down by three at the end of the game needing a three-pointer. Muncie Central had the ball with .3 seconds down by three but in high school basketball with .3 seconds left but in this case, it has to be a tip-in.
The Raiders made five of their eight 3-pointers in the first half. Bearcats coach Justin Ullom commented on the first-half struggles at stopping the 3-point shot for the Bearcats.
“Dug a big hole early,” he said. “They made five of their eight 3-pointers in the first half and I thought most of them were fairly open and uncontested.”

The Bearcats fought until the end. When asked about the fight in his team Bearcats coach Justin Ullom praised.
“That’s what we preach, we didn’t start well but we certainly got back into it,” he said.
Xaviya Cook had 19 points to lead the Bearcats. Followed by LJ Strange with 16 and Wells with seven.
Muncie Central falls to 8-11 on the year.
