MUNCIE, Ind.– Ball State's Health Wellness and Promotion holds the second-annual Health Fair for Healthy Cardinals.
The Health Fair took place in the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
The fair has several displays educating Ball State students about Health Services on and off campus. Students are also given interactive health education resources, sample items, and the occasional free health screening.
Health and Wellness Coordinator Destiny Cherry said she thinks that students should know about the health and wellness resources Ball State offers.
"I think it’s super important for students to come to something like this so they can really find all the resources on the campus and in the community so that we have to support them in their time here,” Cherry said.
"This used to be a fair that was called Well-o-ween. So, back in 2017 or 2018 I think that was the last one." Cherry continued. "Then when positions changed and Covid happened, it stopped. So last year we decided we wanted to start it back up."
Health Promotion and Advocacy is located on the second floor of the Health Center and is available on weekdays to help with the physical needs of students.
"Whatever students need, we are happy to help with," Cherry said.
