MUNCIE, Ind.--- In honor of International Women’s Friendship Month, Kappa Delta is celebrating with their annual Confidence Week. They host various events around campus to inspire confidence in students and to bring the community together.
On Monday, Kappa Delta Sorority gave out free coffee at the scramble light.
“On all the coffee cups we wrote words of affirmation, and we were able to talk to a lot of people about what we were doing,” Vice President of Events and Planning, Emma Bryant said.
Tuesday, they had words of affirmation and inspiring quotes posted all around the university to uplift students.
Wednesday, they were at the scramble light to give out treats and ask students what made them feel the most confident.
“A lot of times people don’t often think about what makes them confident, so when you ask them, it really makes them stop and think,” Bryant said.
On Thursday, Kappa Delta will be hosting an empowering movie night in the student center in the Multipurpose Room from 6-8 p.m. They will be back at the scramble light from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday handing out flowers.
