This past weekend at Ball State University, Late Nite hosted a family game night in honor and correlation to family weekend.
This event was hosted on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Student Center. The building is open during the day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nightly hours may vary, depending on different events hosted in the building. You can find more information about the hours on Ball State's website.
At this event, Late Nite provided activities like Bingo, Kahoot, and even served The Barking Cow of Muncie’s ice cream in many different flavors.
“My favorite is the mocktails, who doesn’t like mocktails,” a Ball State student said.
As families made their way to the second floor, they found even more activities to participate in. There, you could find Uno, board games, air hockey, human cup pong, arts and crafts, and to top it off, bumper cars.
“So far we've done all sorts of things. We got free food, that’s always a plus…. Yeah cup pong, the really big cup pong was really fun,” two Ball State students said.
“We played Uno and got little teddy bears,” two Ball State students said.
Although every weekend is not family game night, the student center still hosts these game night events every Saturday during the school year.
Times for these have been changed to 8 p.m. to Midnight as of earlier today.
