As announced by Ball State University Associate Professor of Chemistry Sundeep Rayat, Ball State is encouraging students to apply for a Teacher-Scholar Program. This program is aimed mostly towards transfer students and first and second year students.
The program offers students that wish to apply an opportunity to work with a Ball State professor or professional staff mentor on research or a creative project for five hours per week. The Teacher-Scholar Program aims to help students "learn more about a field and how research is conducted, make connections with professionals and professors, and get one-on-one academic and career-related advice that is so valuable in college."
Students who apply to the program are set to earn a $750 stipend as well.
For those interested, visit this website and click "Apply Now". This website features a list of potential mentors looking for student researchers to collaborate with on a project.

"We have limited spots, and it is never too early to apply," Rayat said in the release. "We look forward to receiving your applications!!"
