MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) -- Practices for Ball State Women’s Tennis are officially underway. The Cardinals are coming off an incredible season last year where they finished 22 - 4.

Led by Head Coach Max Norris, the team is looking to capitalize on their strong season where they received their first NCAA Tournament berth in over five years. On a team where they only have one returning senior to their lineup, Coach Norris has his team locked and loaded for another spectacular season.

The team is looking to repeat getting an NCAA Tournament berth with their first tournament Saturday, Sept. 24 for the Bethany Moore Invitational. This tournament will be one of four tournaments that the Cardinals will compete in the Fall 2021 semester and is the only tournament that will be held at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.

Head Coach Max Norris is big on getting his players involved and working together as a unit to get back to the NCAA Tournament. Norris said he is really looking forward to working with each individual player and seeing how each of the girls will continue to work as a team to have another successful season.
