CONNERSVILLE, Ind. - (NewsLink)—A Connersville graduate has been finding support from friends and his community during his battle with cancer. When Logan Bean started to feel sick in December, he did not know what was coming his way.
“I went to the urgent care for a chest x-ray,” Bean said. “I have stage 2A unfavorable Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.”
A GoFundMe page is now set up to help his family pay for his treatment. Bean said the amount of support from the community was shocking.
“$9,000 within two days,” Bean said.
Logan’s fight with cancer is just getting started, but he said he is confident he will beat it.
“I’m trying not to think about it and get through it and remain positive,” Bean said.
Bean is planning on going back to work and being done with treatment in September.
