Tonight: Temperatures remain fairly steady this evening in the low to mid 40s, before dropping down to a low of 38 degrees overnight. Be sure to take a jacket with you if you are heading out, because even though winds will remain light out of the southeast at 5-10mph, it could feel chilly. Clouds will increase this evening ahead of our next weather system, which arrives by midnight. Scattered showers will be possible before more widespread rain moves into the viewing area by early Saturday morning.
This Weekend: If you have any outdoor plans this weekend, Saturday will be the best day this weekend to do so, especially if you're planning on heading out to the golf course! By daybreak, conditions will be dry. Clouds will decrease on Saturday, and we will see intermittent periods of sun and clouds by the afternoon. Winds will be light out of the southwest at 5-10 mph, and temperatures climb into the mid 50s for highs tomorrow.
On Sunday, our next weather system moves in, bringing more precipitation than what we will see tonight. Widespread rain is likely across much of Central Indiana by the morning hours, before the rain moves eastward by the afternoon/evening hours. Clouds linger into Sunday evening, before clearing out overnight into Monday. Rainfall accumulations will be between two to three tenths of an inch, with lower amounts to the north and higher amounts likely in our southern counties. Make sure to take an umbrella with you when heading out this weekend, especially if you have plans on Sunday morning. Temperatures will be even warmer than Saturday, topping out in the upper 50s.
7-day: Once the rain moves out on Sunday, we will see dry and sunny conditions for most of next week as high pressure builds in. Temperatures remain above average throughout the next 7 days, spanning from the mid 40s then reaching into the lower 50s again by the middle of next week. Rain chances return for the end of next week.
