MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink)- With Thanksgiving break just two weeks away, students are preparing to head home and be with their families. However, fear was growing that students could potentially bring COVID-19 home with them.
Each college is handling this fear differently. Colleges like Notre Dame have said they are requiring their students to get tested before they leave campus.
Ball State has encouraged students to avoid large crowds while they are home during the holiday season, including while shopping, traveling and spending time with family. They also said students should do what they've already been doing on campus.
The last day of in-person classes is November 24th. Classes will be remote starting the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Students living in the dorms must be out by the 25th at 8 a.m.
