YORKTOWN,Ind.(NewsLink) -- The Yorktown Boys Soccer Team is having a stellar year both on and off the field.
This season the tigers have an 11-2 record, but that is not the only remarkable thing about this team. Both teams, varsity and JV, have an average GPA of 3.5.
They also participated in community service to help give back to the community, even through these difficult times.
Head Coach Shane Guinn said that their key to success, both on and off the field, is the kids themselves.
Guinn said that all the on-field success is attributed to the kids and how hard they practice and the drive that they show day in and day out.
The tigers will next be in action at home on Oct. 1 against Muncie Burris with a start time of 7 o’clock.
