DALEVILLE,Ind.(NewsLink) - The son of a war hero, whose story was made into award-winning film "Hacksaw Ridge", visited a local business recently.
"People really want to see my father, that's who they really want to see. I call myself a cardboard cutout because I'm not him, but he's not here," said Desmond Doss Jr, the son of Medal of Honor Recipient Desmond Doss.
Jesse Landess, the owner of Landess Farm, decided this year he would carve Desmond Doss' image into a corn maze.
After a picture of the maze went viral, Doss Jr. knew he wanted to see it for himself. He said he is very grateful to the Landess family for honoring his father this way.
