Gary Addison, inspector at precinct 8 and 10, which was located at the Oakwood building, said he saw several Ball State students at the polls.
“I’ve been impressed by how many students are still in town and chose to come,” Addison said.
He added they were short on staff this year. Addison, with the help of two election clerks and one election judge, watched as different community members visited to vote. All election staff wore gloves and masks and face shields.
