MUNCIE, Ind. (Newslink) - The Yorktown Tigers wrapped up their season on Friday with a loss to Guerin Catholic in the first round of sectionals.
The Tigers had a solid season with a final record of 6-4 and a conference record of 4-3.
Yorktown also had some good individual wins this year, particularly a 42-0 win against Shelbyville and a 42-6 win over Greenfield Central.
The passing attack this year was sound, as senior quarterback Reid Neal passed for 1,507 yards with 16 touchdowns.
Leading receiver Austin Hill had 533 yards and four touchdowns in his senior campaign.
The Tigers also had a solid run game, lead by quarterback Reid Neal’s 399 yards and four touchdowns, with the team rushing for a total of 1,073 yards and 11 touchdowns.
