Tonight: Overnight tonight, we are expecting calm conditions with cool temperatures into the lower 40s. Winds will be coming out of the North at 5-10 mph, and cloudy skies will be present throughout the night.
Tomorrow: Tomorrow, we start out chilly, but slowly get up into the upper 50s by mid afternoon. Cloudy skies will continue through the afternoon and evening, but overall, a calm fall day.
7-Day Forecast: Over the next 7 days, we have one main chance of rain showers, and that is on Saturday. Widespread showers will move into the area on Saturday and will continue from late morning through the afternoon and evening. Many areas that have been lacking precipitation will get a good soaking this weekend.
For those planning to attend Ball State's home football game, be sure to plan to bring a rain coat or umbrella. Rain will likely be widespread by kickoff at 2pm, and is not looking to let up much through the course of the game time.
Over the 7 days, we mainly see chances of rain prominent on Saturday before we dry out through the rest of the weekend into early next week. Later in the week, we see cooler temperatures and rain chances return. On Halloween day this Thursday, rain is possible with a cool 45° for the high temperature that day. This is drastically different from last year's Halloween, when we saw temperatures into the upper 70s and low 80s last year.
