Today: Starting off the day with temps climbing and muggy conditions continuing. Clouds increase through the afternoon with rain showers and storms moving into the area along a cold front. Highest chance of rain should begin after 3:00pm through the early evening hours.
Afternoon Storms: Taking a look at Precisioncast for the area this afternoon scattered rain showers and a few storms move into the area. Heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning would be the biggest concern with any storm that moves through. This rain will quickly move out of the area during the early evening hours.
Tonight: As the cold front moves through the area in the early evening skies will quickly clear out and winds will turn out of the northwest. This will bring drier and cooler air with a low of 55 degrees as we move into Saturday.
7-Day Forecast: After this hot and humid Friday we are looking at a cool and comfortable weekend just in time for the Ball State game and family weekend. As we head into the work week we will see highs generally in the low 80's with partly cloudy conditions and little in the way of precipitation.
