MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) - The Maring Hunt Library is reaching out to Muncie residents by providing fresh and healthy food options right next door.
Muncie Food Hub mobile market has been traveling all over Muncie and stops right next to the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Market provides fresh produce from Spangled Farms which grows cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, green beans, okra, squash, jalapeños, watermelon, corn and more.
Pricing on the locally grown food is compared to other markets.
“Our prices are competitive. We compare them with other prices out there with other stores,” said Anthony Smith, a worker in the food market.
You can also find the food hub at several other locations throughout the week such as The Open-Door Farmers Market, The Ross Community Center, Muncie Power Products, etc.
