MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) - This past Friday, the Blackford Bruins faced the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers in a heated match-up.
Both teams' win-loss record at the start of the game were 3-1.
The game started with Alexandria-Monroe scoring the first touch-down.
Both teams held each other at one touch-down the entire first quarter. By the second quarter, the Tigers scored two more touch-downs to bring their score up to 28 by the end of the half with Blackford trailing with 14.
The Bruins fought hard. They kept the Tigers to one touch-down the entire third quarter with Isaac Justice blocking the field goal attempt. The Bruins scored two more touch-downs, but still trailed 34-38.
The action packed game came to an end with the Tigers coming out on top winning the game 40-35.
This Friday, Blackford will be traveling to Madison-Grant High School to face the Argylls at 7p.m.
