Muncie, Ind.(NewsLink) - Ball State’s Women’s Volleyball team will travel to Toledo, Ohio to play the Toledo Rockets on Thursday.
The Ball State team is coming off of a home weekend event where they finished the weekend with two wins and one loss. The loss came to Wright State, with the Cardinals falling in a close match, losing two sets to three.
The Cardinals defeated both Missouri State and Austin Peay in dominating fashion, winning both matches three to nothing.
The team will be opening up conference play in Toledo and they are hoping to keep their momentum and start MAC action off with a win.
They hope to build up a little more chemistry, setter Esther Grussing said, “We’ve worked a lot with connecting with the hitters since we have nine freshmen.”
The Cardinals and Rockets will begin their first set on 7 p.m. on Thursday in Toledo.
