MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink)- As Ball State’s Student Government Association election voting ends, they will host an event that is sure to help students planning to live off-campus.
Tuesday from 5 to 6 in the Student Center, SGA will be holding an opportunity for students to get matched up with a new roommate for the next school year.
Hugo Madrigal, the off campus senator for SGA, says the event is important for students to attend since it could help with making sure students will be compatible with one another.
The event will consist of students filling out roommate compatible papers as a way to see if students will be a good enough match for each other. The papers will consist of a variety of questions that each person can fill out.
Madrigal says that just because people may match with each other, they obviously do not have to end up living together if they choose not to.
“It’s not like a solid agreement, it’s basically you kind of get to know them and see if you like them enough to actually would want them as a roommate," Madrigal said.
The event will be held in the Student Center Forum Room.
