MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink) A cat found halfway frozen to death is currently recovering with a Muncie Animal Care and Services vet tech.
Ball State freshman Natalie Beach found Archie the cat and brought him to the shelter, where she also works. Beach got the call about Archie the cat minutes before the situation become deadly. Archie was seen by the vet tech shortly after arriving to the shelter and was found to be paralyzed. According to Beach, Archie's story is an example of what could happen to any animal if left outside.
"Just definitely with the cold weather we've been having, bring your pets in. This is the consequences of what happens ... pets will die if you don’t bring them in," Beach said.
Beach said everyone at the shelter is thankful he is alive.
