Although we all experienced different childhoods, there is one thing most people had in common. We all wanted to be loved and feel as though we were important in someone else’s life. Big Brothers Big Sisters aims to make that experience possible in lives of our children right here in Muncie.
With new advancements such as the name of the program changing as well as the new meaningful logo, Board Member Amanda Price, shares her excitement about the revealing of today’s news.
“I’m really excited about the new brand and the new brand logo, because I think it’s gonna ignite a lot of inspiration every corner of our community. It’s gonna allow the Bigs, the Littles, the donors, the staff, the board members to all empower the potential and allow every one of us to defend the potential in our community and the youth here.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Indiana hopes to gain more positive attention, starting with their new brand logo. The goal for this initiative is to bring more attention to potential “Bigs” thus matching the number of many “littles” upon the waiting list.
Sue Godfrey, Executive Director, gives some insight to what she believes this transformation will do. “We at Big Brothers Big Sisters do not create potential but we empower potential, we ignite potential, and we ask the community to join us to defend the potentials of the children in our community.”
Through this new season, Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Indiana is excited for the opportunity lying ahead.
