Multiple reports show that accidents happen between farm equipment and vehicles.
A local Muncie farmer, John Rinker says “We try to pick a time that’s not so busy to move, but sometimes you can’t help it. If you finish a field and you have to go to another one, you just have to go”.
Rinker added that timing is crucial and sometimes you can’t help it.
According to research, farmers have the same rights as automobile drivers to operate their equipment. Farmers also have to follow the regulations for proper lighting on their equipment.
