The Cardinal Screenplay Festival, now in its third year, is a celebration of the Department of English’s best scripts, written by students and performed by both students and faculty. The scripts are chosen from the screenwriting courses, in this case English 410 and 615.
These screenplays were performed by a team of students, Audrey Donastorg, Emily Tonner, Kevin Stockmann, Mark Meyer-Malian and Nathan Bongard. The students were joined by faculty Paige Waters, Kathryn Gardiner, Rani Crowe and Matt Mullins, who helped organize the event and lent a hand in performing each screenplay.
This year, the event featured five different scripts: Love is Drunk by Kate Carnahan, The Tale of Rebecca and Charlotte by Holly Barnhart, Duncan at the Dance by Evan Cozad, Gentry Stayton, and Sage Waelbroeck, Coping Methods by Arryn Dennard and The Panel by Sarah Eustler.
