This Evening: A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service office out of Indianapolis. This advisory is in effect until 2 pm Wednesday. Rain will quickly transition to snow through the late evening into overnight hours.
Tonight: Overnight lows will drop to 27 degrees, with snow expected to continue throughout the overnight. Anywhere from an inch to two inches snowfall accumulation can be expected for a large portion of the viewing area, with some isolated areas receiving upwards of 3 inches.
Tomorrow: The snow will clear out by lunchtime, allowing for mostly cloudy conditions for the evening hours. Temperatures across the region will remain in the lower 40's.
7-Day Forecast: An active 7-day forecast is in store, with a possibility of more rain and some snow flurries late Friday into Saturday. Temperatures begin to climb to start the next work week, but rain could play spoiler.
