In the debut episode of InQueeries & Theories, students Katrina Brown, Marie Drascic, and Randi Flick discuss the much anticipated film “Love, Simon”, released on March 16th. The film, based off of the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, gained public attention as a formative queer film marketed for teenagers. The three discuss the storyline, controversy around representation of gay actors, the significance of the movie in our current culture, and ask the age old question: who has the right to tell a story?
