Upcoming SGA Election events and dates:

Town Hall Debate

  • When: Feb. 21 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Art and Journalism Building room 175

Voting Begins

  • When: Feb. 26 at 8 a.m.
  • Where: Online, link sent in campus-wide email

Winners announced

  • When: Feb. 27 after 5 p.m.
  • Where: L.A. Pittenger Student Center, Office of Student Life

The Student Government Association (SGA) Elections Board is hosting the 2018 All Slate debate at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Executive board candidates for Amplify, the nominated executive slate, will address the audience and discuss their platform points at the evening event. 

Amplify Slate Members include: Isaac Mitchell, president; Matt Hinkleman, vice president; Kyleigh Snavely, secretary; and Jalen Jones, treasurer.

The debate will take place at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center in Cardinal halls A and B.

On Wednesday, Amplify will address the campus community again during the 2018 Town Hall Debate, where audience members will be able to ask candidates questions and receive direct responses from the four slate members. The debate will take place at 8 p.m. in Art and Journalism Building room 175.

This is the first time in eight years that only one slate was nominated for the SGA elections. Although there's only one slate running, students will still cast their votes — either in support of the Amplify slate or with a vote of no confidence.
