A new ranking from U.S. News & World Report lists Ball State and other public Indiana universities as having some of the best-qualified online programs.
The list slots Ball State at No. 16 in the nation for its online MBA program, 23 in online graduate nursing programs and 35 in online bachelor’s programs.
By comparison, Indiana University’s online MBA program ranked third.
The ranking also rates universities on graduate engineering programs, of which Purdue University earned the No. 5 spot.
According to its website, the rankings are based off 15 data points. Graduation and retention rates, faculty resources and student selectivity are among the most heavily considered.
