Cornerstone Center for the Arts will be showcasing the work of this year's students through it's annual Fall Celebration this weekend.
From dancing to musical performances and displays of art, Sunday's free celebration offers community members the chance to see what the center has to offer. The event starts at 2 p.m. and will feature a visit with Santa Claus.
“All the classes have worked very hard and it is always so great to see the kids and even adults perform,” said Kayla Kern, instructor of dance. “You never know, you might see a class that you inspires you.”
Jessie Fisher, director of education and communication, said this year's Fall Celebration will also show Cornerstone's dedication in promoting inclusivity by offering a wide range of artistic opportunities for everyone.
“It’s our goal to make creative expression a possibility for all community members regardless of their age, race, gender, socioeconomic status,” Fisher said. “We pride ourselves in providing quality, low-cost arts programs that are open to anyone who wants to participate.”
