Muncie Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday night.
Investigators say that a 21-year-old male was shot in the leg and taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital by a friend around 10:30 p.m.
The male, who police said was "intoxicated at some level," told police two cars were driving around the area of South Hackley and East Main streets and shot as they drove by.
