The technology center will host its first-ever event week, “2 for 1,” from Sept. 25-29. The festivities will include information sessions and free giveaways, including an Apple Watch.
“We want to engage with the student body,” said Tim Stavros, the graduate assistant in the technology center. “We want them to know who we are, where we are, what we do, because the tech service is a free service for students”
Stavros explained “2 for 1” is a weeklong event that covers different trending topics that students commonly come into the tech center for.
“We want to put on a event where our trained staff teaches a half hour course over things students ask about,” Stavros said. “This is built into their tuition. We want students to see where their money is going. We want to give back and help everyone on campus.”
There will be informational sessions, that will be about an hour, on different topics given in the tech center each day. Registration is required and can be done online.
