After a pair of victories over UAB and Tennessee Tech, the Ball State Cardinals hit the road again, this time heading to Bowling Green, Kentucky to battle the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
The Cardinals are 2-1 on the year, while the Hilltoppers are 1-2 with each side suffering a common loss at Illinois. Western Kentucky is under first year head coach Mike Sanford Jr., who replaced former head coach Jeff Brohm who left for Purdue at the end of last season.
Last week, the Hilltoppers fell to Louisiana Tech 23-22, while Ball State beat Tennessee Tech 28-13.
