A Muncie man has been charged after police said he caused an accident which led to the death of a 6-year-old girl.
Delaware County Cheif Prosecutor, Eric Hoffman, has formally charged, Nathanial Jordan, 27, Muncie, for his role in the death of the child.
Jordan, charged with neglect of a dependent causing death, criminal recklessness and domestic battery with a child present, was arrested after the accident on May 28.
An initial hearing date with Delaware Circuit Court 3 has not been set yet.

Court documents said that Jordan "did knowingly place said dependent in a situation that endangered the dependents life."
The driver, Jessica Skeens, 28, Farmland, was preliminary charged with neglect of a dependent causing death, operating while intoxicated causing death of another person, operating while intoxicated with a passenger less than 18 years of age and three counts of neglect of a dependent.
The Indiana State Police said Skeens had a B.A.C over the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Skeens was arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail on May 30.
