Some light showers are in the area right now. We do have a Flash Flood Watch in effect from tonight until Friday morning at 5AM. Grant, Blackford, and Jay counties also have an Areal Flood Watch in effect until 2AM Thursday.
Tonight:
Winds start to ramp up tonight staying steady around 18mph with lows in the mid-40s. Rain showers start to increase as the evening hours progress.
Thursday/Friday:
Highs tomorrow in the middle 50s with steady rain showers through the day as well as some hefty wind gusts near 25mph. Grab the rain jacket and the umbrella, you'll need it all day!
Steady showers continue throughout Thursday and night and become more scattered on Friday. Rain totals could be anywhere from 2-2.5 inches by Friday. Wind gusts continue to increase throughout Thursday and up near 35 by 1AM on Friday.
Graduation:
For now looks like rain will be lingering around Saturday morning with highs in the mid-50s. Commencement has been moved from the Quad at this time to Worthen arena. Skies should clear into the afternoon hours. Make sure to grab the rain jacket if you are headed out on Saturday.
7 Day Forecast:
After Saturday, it looks like we will be on an uphill trend. Almost 60 degrees for Sunday and Monday with some much needed sunny skies. Near normal on Tuesday with a high of 70 degrees and our next rain chance looks to be next Wednesday with highs in the upper 60s.
