Several Ball State departments have teamed up to host a series of events to celebrate National Nutrition Month. Presented by Ball State Dining, Working Well, Ball State Dietetics Association and Recreation Services, the month of events is designed to promote wellness and making healthy choices on campus.
Suzanne Clem, marketing director for dining, said she feels that helping students make healthy living choices is a priority for dining services.
Some of the events aren’t specifically nutrition related, such as massages for staff members.
“We want students and employees to see nutrition as part of an umbrella goal of wellness that incorporates healthy eating, physical activity and stress reduction, among other factors.” Clem said.
