Lantern EDM night to feature choreographed light show, local performers

Tonight, Be Here Now will feature Electronic Dance Music Collective performers for Lantern EDM Night. 

With a choreographed light show and 7K watts of sound that will get even your insides moving, the show will start at 9:30 p.m. and end at 1:30 a.m. 

Featured performers include SHXPS, T-ROUB, RE:BORN and SPACEXLION

Performer Tyler Roub (T-ROUB), will be producing bass music and describes it as having more of a trap basis, or dubstep vibe, similar to artists like Slander and Nghtmre.

Roub said this event will be a great opportunity for those in Muncie to step away from their normal nightlife scenes and get a broader sense of dance music and the talent that the Muncie community possesses.

“There aren’t many opportunities to go dancing, especially to electronic dance music, so it really opens up the opportunity for people to experience something that they would otherwise not have much access to in this area,” Roub said.

In addition to a variety of electronic and house music, there will also be a variety of drink specials to choose from such as $2 PBRs, $3 Flat 12 Pints, $5 Jack Daniels, $6 Bacardi, Seagrams and Svedka Doubles. 

There will also be an entrance fee of $3 for those 21 and older and $5 for 20 and below. For additional information check out Lantern EDM Night on Facebook.
