by Bradley Dean Jones Snap Inc., the creators of Snapchat, released a $129 pair of sunglasses with a built-in camera last November called Spectacles. The catch was you had to travel to special "Snapbot" vending machines in certain locations to get them. After the initial hype, Snap has finally made them available for purchase online for the same $129, which the company hinted at when filing for an IPO recently saying they were going to “significantly broaden the distribution of Spectacles”. This is just a small change Snap has made in the last few months in an attempt to make a name for themselves. Previously called Snapchat, the company changed their name to Snap Inc. along with their identity, stating that they are a camera company, more than the developers of an app. It is expect for Snap to release more camera related products and possibly even new apps.
