The Atrium will lose its smoothie fix for some time after a floor drain collapsed inside Jamba Juice, university officials said.
Karen Adkins, director of dining and dining initiatives at Ball State, said the drain collapse is preventing water from leaving the area. Ball State Dining Services tweeted on Dec. 1 that the restaurant had been closed for maintenance.
Adkins is unsure how long repairs will take and whether it will reopen this semester or next semester.
The university has reassigned all Jamba Juice employees to the Atrium and Bookmark Café.
This story will be updated.
Jamba Juice is now temporarily closed for maintenance. We'll keep you posted here on a reopening date!
