You'll probably be pondering that for a while, because in gaming, trans characters are few and far between. When there is representation - trans characters are reduced down to being "trap" jokes or are wrongly interpreted as being trans. Their creators didn't mean for them to be anything but "quirky." When creators consciously create a transgender character, as seen when Amber Scott wrote Baldur's Gate: Siege of Drangonspear, included a four line dialogue with a blink-and-you'll miss them transwoman, things get complicated. People riot online, complain about SJWs, and make violent videos. Anime invented the trans trap joke, but has a more prolific history of telling stories about transgender characters and handling them fairly well. Comics try to, and sometimes fail to properly represent the people they're writing about. This week is Transgender Awareness Week, and November 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance.
