While some may think college students are too old to go trick-or-treating, there are still plenty of on-campus activities to enjoy while celebrating Halloween.
Here are some events that Ball State is offering throughout the week to help put students in a festive mood:
Oct. 25
Halloween Game Night (Art and Journalism Room 150) Join Scholar Core from 7 to 9 p.m. for festive food and games. Costumes welcome and encouraged.
Oct. 26
Halloween Show (Pruis Hall) Check out the Halloween Dance show from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Pruis Hall hosted by Operation Black Out.
Cancer is Scary; Check your BOObies (Park Hall) This program helps to promote breast cancer awareness while enjoying sweet treats in the Park Hall lobby from 8 to 10 p.m.
Oct. 27
Día de los Muertos (North Quad) Celebrate The Day of the Dead with the Spanish Club in the North Quad lounge from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Food and drinks provided.
Oct. 28
University Apartments Fall Carnival (University Apartment Complex) From 5 to 7 p.m., enjoy inflatables, pumpkin painting, yard games, s’mores and more. Costumes welcome and encouraged.
Witches Ball (L.A. Pittenger Student Center) Dance, play games, do crafts and compete in a costume contest from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
Oct. 29
Zombie Run 5k (Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center) Join Global Brigades as they're chased by zombies during this run from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Nightmare Before Drag Show (Ball Gym) The show, hosted by Spectrum, will take place in Ball Gym starting at 8 p.m. and will be themed "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
Paranormal Late Night (Student Center) Come in a costume and prepare to be spooked in the Student Center from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. during Late Nite.
