Ball State women's tennis (22-3, 7-1 MAC) swept Western Michigan 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game to secure its first-ever MAC Tournament title.
The Cardinals picked up the doubles point when the teams of Audrey Berger/Peyton Gollhofer and Carmen Blanco/Bethany Moore both won.
In the individual matches, freshman Peyton Gollhofer, junior Rosalinda Calderon and sophomore Carmen Blanco each won in straight sets.
Winning the MAC Tournament also earned Ball State a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinals will find out who they play during the NCAA selection show, which will stream on ncaa.com at 5 p.m. May 3.
