Atlas was joyful and appreciative as they passed their advice down to Summit for the upcoming year.
James Wells, now president of SGA, said it’s a great relief to finally be in office.
“We are so excited and can’t wait to work with the senators and see what issues are going to come our way to solve for the student body,” he said. “We all are looking forward to next year.”
Ana Batres, SGA’s new vice president, said she is excited about this next step in her journey.
“I’m ... really excited to start working with the senators and being able to just reach new heights throughout campus with them,” Batres said.
Wells said his first step as president will be to present the executive cabinet to senate and hopefully get them confirmed.
Over the summer, he said the slate plans on contacting administrators to get prepared for the upcoming year.
