Board of Trustees to choose presidential search firm at meeting April 15

The Board of Trustees is hosting a seventh open forum to provide Ball State students, faculty, alumni and members of the Muncie community a chance to say what qualities they think the next university president should have and what the next president should focus on. DN FILE PHOTO BREANNA DAUGHERTY


The day of meetings starts at 9 a.m. on April 15.

The meetings at 9, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. are the ones where the board will be discussing and presenting information.

  • 9 a.m.: Audit and Compliance committee meeting
    • The board will talk about the audit reports and enterprise risk management
  • 9:30 a.m.: Finance, Facilities and Planning committee meeting
    • They'll talk about the campus master plan and give an update on enrollment data
  • 10:30 a.m.: Academic and Student Affairs committee meeting
    • They will be approving graduates, personnel, honorary degrees and the naming of the John H. Schnatter Institute for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise
    • They will also will be presenting information on the College of Fine Arts
  • 3 p.m.
    • They'll go over decisions made in the previous three meetings
    • Approve and announce the decision for the presidential search firm
