Here in Muncie yesterday we reached a high of 81 degrees, which is 19 degrees above average for this time of year. The summer-like temperatures are going to stick around for one more day before we see a cool down. Monday you can expect a high of 80 degrees. Tuesday we will drop to 74 degrees as cloud cover begins to move in throughout the day. This increasing cloud cover is ahead of our next rain chance, which is expected to occur late on Wednesday evening. Thursday is the best chance for significant rainfall as a low pressure system out of the southwest begins to make it’s way into out area. This rain chance is going to linger into Friday as temperatures will only make it to near 65 degrees, but you can expect a warm up as temperatures make it back up into the lower 70s for the weekend.
