The Ball State Women's golf team posted a three-day score of 925 to place 16th at the Rio Verde Invitational this past weekend.
The team posted individual round scores of 311, 304 and 310 over the weekend and were lead by junior Allison Lindley's nine-over-par performance of 225. Lindley lead the team by remaining incredibly consistent posting three straight rounds of 75.
Out of the 96 individual golfers performances, Lindley finished in a nine-way tie for 15th place overall.
Freshman Sydney Anderson was close behind Lindley, posting a 227 after a second round score of 72. The Cardinals were rounded out by junior Kelsey Sear shooting a 238 (22 over par), sophomore Kayla Adamson shooting a 239 (23-over-par) and sophomore Morgan Nadaline shooting a 247 (31-over-par). Senior Meghan McDougall shot 27-over-par (243) competing as an individual.
The Toledo Rockets won the tournament by 11 shots, with a team score of 285, and Xavier's Hanna Lee won the individual title, with a 217.
The Cardinals compete next at the Bulldog Florida Invitational during Spring Break.
