MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Warm temps take over east central Indiana as strong southwesterly winds bring in a welcomed spring-like air mass. This weather pattern will also bring in mostly cloudy skies and temps around 60 for Wednesday, before rain chances start to build Wednesday evening. Rain, and some rumbles of thunder, are expected for late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, with the heaviest precipitation expected over Muncie during the 7 am to 9 am hours. After that, lingering rain is expected throughout the day, with the possibility of even seeing a flurry on the back end of this system Thursday night, as temperatures take a plunge. The low Thursday night into Friday is expected to be around the freezing mark. Sun returns for Friday and Saturday, as temps recover, but Easter again brings the likelihood of rain. Temperatures will be mild throughout the day, but for any egg hunts or other outdoor activities a rain coat will be recommend.
