The blog announced the news that Ubisoft is “re-examining” the franchise. There has been a main story game in the series every year since 2009. The post talks about how important feedback has been to them, talking about how Assassin’s Creed Unity was a game they “learned a lot on.”
Also mentioned in the post were the images released earlier in January of the new movie based on the franchise. The movie stars Michael Fassbender and will hit theaters on December 21, 2016, hopefully providing fans their fill of Assassin's Creed for the year.
The post ends by thanking the millions of fans for their support and promising more information soon.
