The Cardinals have won five out of their past six games on the road and sent a message in the MAC opener on Jan. 6 against the Rockets, winning 87-69.

In the last meeting, junior Ryan Weber shot 7-11 from beyond the arc for a team-high 21 points and seven rebounds. Along with Weber, Ball State had four other players in double-digit scoring, a staple to the team's offense this season.

At 9-5, Ball State holds a two-game lead in the MAC West division with four games left to play. Toledo is one of three teams tied for second with a 7-7 conference record, along with Northern Illinois and Central Michigan.

Ball State owns the best road record in the MAC at 5-2. The last time the Cardinals won five league road games was in the 2000-01 season.

The Cardinals have yet to lose a conference game to a team in the West Division, and a win against Toledo would extend Ball State's conference record to 10-5 for the first time since the 2001-02 season.

Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.
