Tonight, Ball State men’s basketball (13-8, 4-4 MAC) play Bowling Green State University (13-8, 4-4 MAC) at 7 p.m. on Feb. 02 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The Cardinals have not beaten the Falcons since Feb. 4, 2010, and BGSU has won 10 of the last 11 games between the two schools.
Cardinal sophomore guard Francis Kiapway has the third-best three-point field goal percentage in the MAC, converting 45.6 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.
Overall, Ball State shoots 37.5 percent from three, fourth
in the MAC – one spot behind the Falcons, who shoot 37.8 percent from range.
BGSU, however, also has the third-worst three-point field goal percentage
against in the conference, 35.4 percent.
Senior swingman Ryan Weber leads the Cardinals with 11.6 points per game, while the Falcons are led by senior forward Spencer Parker’s 14.0 points per game.
Both teams have lost three of their last four games, but Ball State is still just one game behind Northern Illinois (16-5, 5-3 MAC) and Central Michigan (12-9, 5-3 MAC) in the West Division standings.
