The Dec. 12 men’s basketball game against Pepperdine University will also be Toys for Tots Military and Public Safety Appreciation Day, presented by the Muncie Visitors Bureau.
The Cardinals partnered with Anderson’s U.S. Marine Corps League Mounds Detachment, Delaware County’s official Toys for Tots coordinator.
From noon until 2 p.m., toys can be dropped off at Worthen Arena in the ground level lobby near Gate One.
Fans with a valid military or public service I.D., including police officers and fire fighters, will get into the game for free.
Reduced-price tickets are also available with a donation, including reserved seats for $10 and general admission tickets for $6. Normally, reserved seats cost $15 and general admission tickets cost $10.
Ball State students already receive free admission to games but can earn 50 student rewards bonus points by donating a toy.
Fans and students who are unable to attend the 1 p.m. game still have the opportunity to donate toys in the same location between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 11.
